Membership Eligibility
1. Candidates for membership must be currently licensed in the State of Texas as a registered nurse, the only exception being those with federal government immunity or those RNs from states participating in the multi-state licensure compact.
2. The nurse administrator holding the highest-level management position in patient care services in a health care institution.
3. A nurse holding line management positions with operational responsibility including patient care management, human resources management and fiscal and material resource management.
4. A nurse administrator in a multi-hospital system corporate structure who provides consultation to the nurse administrators of the system.
5. Past presidents and charter members of the organization, regardless of their current work positions in a member institution.
6. Membership in North TONE shall be voted upon by the membership of North TONE.

The membership year will run each year from September 1 – August 31 and the membership types are as follows:
NTONE Primary Active (NTONE + TONE) - $150
NTONE Additional Active (NTONE+ TONE) - $125
Students fall under the associate member type which is $120 – for a joint NTONE and TONE - $135
NTONE Affiliate Membership (NTONE + TONE ) - $275.
